I went into Groundbreaking thinking it'd be a quick "grab the thing, take the pic" job, and yeah… Blue Gate doesn't play nice. The north side is loud, the sightlines are nasty, and you'll get punished for jogging in the open. Before you even queue in, make sure you understand the one item that actually matters: the ARC Raiders BluePrint Communication Tower Key you're handed when you accept the quest. Treat it like it's made of glass, because if you go down with it in your inventory, you're back to hoping RNG blesses you or that someone else cracked the door already.
First thing I do after spawning is stash that key into a safe pocket augment. Not "after a fight," not "once I'm close." Right away. People love camping lines toward Pilgrim's Peak, and it only takes one random burst to wipe your run. Keep your loadout simple: something steady at mid-range, a few heals, and enough stamina stuff to climb and reposition. If you're overpacked, you'll feel it on this route.
Pilgrim's Peak sits way up north, and it's usually busy because the loot's good and everyone knows it. Don't run straight up the obvious paths. Cut wide, use rocks for cover, and pause to listen. You're looking for the facility building, and the locked entry is on the east side. If it's already open, take the win and don't hang around outside. If it's closed, use the key, slip in, and get off the doorway fast.
Inside, the key moment is the whiteboard on the right. Interact with it and the quest updates, plus you get the photo clue for the next spot. Then loot quickly, not greedily. There's often a weapon case or something worth keeping, but this room is a trap if you start playing inventory Tetris. Grab what's useful, reload, and get ready to leave the same way you came in.
Next you're trekking southwest to the Abandoned Housing Project. This is where a lot of runs die, because people relax once the first part pops. Don't. The target is the unfinished building sitting just below the "Abandoned Housing Project" label on the map. As you close in, you'll see interaction prompts—follow them and take the photo. That's the actual finish line. After that, extraction is optional for the objective, but you still want your loot, so rotate carefully, assume an evac camper is watching, and if you're looking to gear up for future runs, you can always buy BluePrint options to smooth out the grind before going back into Blue Gate again.
